Located in the coastal region of Ecuador right before the marvelous Andes, we pride ourselves in offering a mindful approach to living the good life. “Deep green” with discrete luxury, a subtle traditional aesthetic, privacy, and graciousness, Hacienda La Danesa models hospitality with enduring expressions of land and family that fosters and sustains the Olsen-Peet family charming 6-bedroom farmhouse.


What is it like to stay at Hacienda La Danesa?

Hacienda La Danesa is a family owned and working hacienda that offers authentic and bespoke experiences for travelers looking to get off the tourist trails and to have a meaningful exchange with locals. We do not cater to tourists but to explorers. Our guests love how we make them feel like home and nurtured. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, our guests either choose to stay at the hacienda grounds or explore nearby off-the-beaten (and amazing) excursions curated by Niels and the team.

What we love the most is listening to our guests travel stories during the evening at the teak terrace over a great bottle of wine; how great it was the ‘From Bean to Bar’ chocolate workshop, horseback riding with buffalos at a neighbour’s hacienda or just how relaxing the massage was in their private garden. We believe we have unique curated experiences for the explorers and travelers at heart looking for excursions that are enriching to the soul.


TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. - Transfer in + Highlands of Santa Cruz + Charles Darwin Station. (-/L/D)
Day 2. - Day tour to one of the following islands: Bartolome /Santa Fe /Seymour Norte + Bachas /Plazas + Punta Carrion*. (B/L/D)
Day 3. - Day tour to one of the following islands: Bartolome /Santa Fe /Seymour Norte + Bachas /Plazas + Punta Carrion* or Bay Tour + Tortuga Bay. (B/L/D)
Day 4. – Transfer out. (B/-/-)
(B: breakfast / L: lunch / D: dinner)
*The visits to the islands are subject to change due to climate, logistical and safety reasons, or decisions of the Galapagos National Park.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Transfers in - out from / to Baltra airport.
• Visits as specified in the itinerary.
• Guidance in English / Spanish.
• Transportation during the stay.
• Full board
• Accommodation for 3 nights at Hotel Red Mangrove (breakfast included).
• Snorkeling equipment for daily tours (mask and tube).

• Entrance to the GPS National Park ($ 100).
• Ingala Card ($ 20).

• Pick-ups for the day tours are made from 06:45 am to 7:30 am.
