Leaving from Quito early in the morning from your hotel and drive North West of Quito in direction to the Cloud Forest; one of the richest ecosystems in Ecuador. You will first visit MAQUIPUCUNA - an ecological reserve dedicated to conservation and reforestation of the Mindo cloud forest. You will take a guided hike in primary forests where you will be able to see the wildlife of this beautiful tropical area and you will learn about the flora and fauna existent here. A very traditional lunch will be served in this place based on organic food. Then you will continue driving farther north in direction to the coast arriving for an afternoon check-in at the resort of Arasha. The resort at Arasha is considered, an exclusive and most beautiful resort spas in South America and winner of international awards.

offers a variety of activities such as hikes in the forest, bird watching tours which usually depart very early in the morning for you to see the most magnificent and colorful birds, a very interesting lecture at the chocolate factory where you will learn how our indigenous people started making this product, and visits to the impressive waterfalls. You can also take a tour of the secondary forest with torches at night, wild orchid guided tour to the River Caoni and much more. There is also a artisan from the millenary cultures of the TSACHILAS -making earrings, rings, and much more!

Your guide will meet you in the lobby of Arasha Resort at approximately 11:00 AM and will take you for lunch at a wonderful peaceful and delightful place in the cloud forest located up in the hills and surrounded by the magical vegetation of this ecosystem where its main visitors are hundreds of hummingbirds. After enjoying lunch in this location you will continue driving back to Quito and you will make a very educative stop at the Equator to visit the most interesting museum (INTI NAN), where you will learn a lot about the equator and all the facts applicable to it.
